Description :
Are you looking for a chance to use your passion for cultural and creative learning to make a real difference to London’s pupils and young people? This is an exciting opportunity to join the small and friendly Culture Mile Learning (CML) team. CML is a unique partnership of over 25 cultural organisations in the City of London and beyond, led by the Museum of London and including the Barbican, St Paul’s Cathedral, Tower Bridge and Keats House, www.culturemile.london/learn
The Culture Mile Learning Programme Manager initiates and leads projects and partnerships relating to skills development and employability for secondary school pupils and young people aged 16-24, especially for those who face barriers to social mobility. The post plays a key role in the collaborative development, delivery and evaluation of projects and programmes that draw on the cultural expertise and assets of CML partners and employers to support young people's employability and social mobility, eg work experience, mentoring and CML’s contribution to the City of London’s annual Careers Festival.
We are looking for a creative thinker who has developed and delivered high quality skills development opportunities for young people and who understands the value of cultural experiences for enhancing their employability. You will also have experience of initiating and leading partnerships, eg with schools, cultural organisations, employers, local authorities and charities.
