Trilateral Research has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Product Manager to join our Sociotech for Good Team. The Associate Product Manager is market facing and is responsible for supporting the development and realisation of a product vision and strategy in partnership with Senior personnel for a single product/use case. They support the continuous cycle of discovery to understand opportunities for sociotechnical innovation, customer engagement/satisfaction, pain points and desires to continue to build a successful product and feed into the product vision and strategy in an agile manner. As required, they will support sales and marketing efforts.

What are your responsibilities?
Supporting the day-to-day realisation of the product vision and strategy, including meeting quarterly Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) to realise strategic product success.
Support maintaining a product impact map & roadmap to ensure the product focuses on delivering real-world value to our users and customers. Review and assess the customer problems, value, usability, feasibility, and validity of customer problems to solve and features to build, in collaboration with the product team and senior management.
Work closely with Data Science, Engineering & UI/UX teams and subject matter experts to ensure a synergistic and collaborative approach. Ensure full documentation of requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to support agile development efforts.
Support co-design efforts (internally and externally) around product development and user testing, leveraging best practices in product management, discovery, and user testing.
Support ensuring a shared understanding of what is valuable, usable, feasible, and valid
Support efforts relating to the ethical implications of product development, by engaging with the ethical and data privacy impact assessments and security assessments.
Work with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure a joint approach to realise the product strategy and vision, and customer uptake.
Support the delivery of demos to current and prospective clients, and support sales efforts in ensuring they understand the value the product offers.
Support efforts to ensure customer satisfaction of the product, inclusive of documentation and training, and translating customer feedback and other inputs into the product roadmap.
Support efforts to ensure the product’s operational use meets Trilateral Research’s ethical standards.
Engage with other Product Managers to cultivate and share best practices and ensure a consistent company approach to product management.

Interpersonal Skills:
Essential:
Proven experience in working in interdisciplinary product teams
Good listening skills and emotional intelligence
Good verbal and written communication and presentation & facilitation skills
· Evidence of good relationship management and ability to build trust in internal and external working relationships
General Knowledge and Technical Skills:
Essential:
Strong time & project management and organization
Ability to work under pressure, organize and prioritise responsibilities
Prior experience relating to product e.g., in a business analyst role
Knowledge of agile & scrum methodologies to software development
Good ability to navigate complexity and chart a well-reasoned plan of action
Demonstrable understanding of sociotechnical development and explainable AI
Required Education and experience:
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree in (preferably) business related discipline.
Demonstrable interest in and understanding of the sociotechnical implications of using data science and cloud platforms for delivering social good.
Demonstrable interest in product management.
Effective time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload at pace.
Good ability to navigate complexity and chart a well-reasoned plan of action
Desirable:
Experience in applying agile principles, tools, and methods.
Experience of working with the public sector.
