About the role:
In this exciting role you will lead the People Services Team to provide inclusive and efficient people services to our colleagues across the organisation. This is a true generalist people management role, overseeing recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, payroll and projects. The role is part of our Leadership Team and presents a great opportunity to collaborate with a range of colleagues to achieve the delivery of a great range of services for our customers. You will also lead the People Services Team and work closely with the Director of People and Culture to develop and drive ambitious people and culture plans to support us in embedding our desired culture and diversity and inclusion commitments.
About you:
Whilst you may not have worked in the charity sector before, you will have experience in a similar role, and be experienced in leading and managing a people team, as well as developing and delivering people plans, policies and KPIs. As youd expect, great communication and influencing skills are essential, as is experience of coaching others to succeed and supporting managers with complex employee relations issues. Ideally you will have experience of working in one of the sectors we deliver services in, but a desire to develop knowledge of the sectors we work in is just as important.
The ability to build positive working relationships is key, as is being able to work on multiple projects at any one time. You will have strong organisational and listening skills, be resilient and have a passion for delivering value added people services. Embracing our values is also important to succeeding in this role. CiPD Level 5 qualified is also essential.
