We are looking to hire an Information Security Coordinator at Trilateral Research to join our Corporate Services team.
The successful candidate will coordinate the administration of an efficient and effective Information Security administration service to the business, supporting the Information Security function to continuously monitoring performance and improve the service.

What are your responsibilities?
General Infosec administration:
Management and administration of the Infosec@ email box.
Monitoring and managing daily, weekly and monthly regular IS activities.
Administering and maintaining credential management and permissions across various IS systems.
Coordinating delivery of specific IS tasks as required Maintaining registers and records as required to support compliance monitoring, management reporting and contract reviews.
Providing administrative support to the IS Board meetings.
Information Security project support:
Working with stakeholders to identify information security gaps across the organisation.
Preparation of documentation to support the evaluation and adoption of appropriate software where required to support the company’s IS stance and its implementation against planned timescales and budgets.
Creating and maintaining accurate project documentation for various IT and IS projects Managing schedules, arranging and documenting meetings, assignments and communication across the projects.
Tracking tasks across the projects to ensure good time management and on time delivery.
Working with outsourced IT helpdesk to ensure that all technical requirements are delivered in a timely fashion.
Administering plans to secure relevant certifications, e.g. Cyber Essentials Plus, Cyber Assured, ISO/IEC:27001 Ensuring communication with all stakeholders in an effective and efficient manner.
Incident management support:
Documenting any security breaches and supporting remedial actions.
Assisting with investigations into any incidents or breaches and supporting with any associated legal and or disciplinary matters.
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
Coordinating learnings and post-incident actions.
IS Policy and Procedures Administration:
Maintaining and administering the relevant Information Security Policies and Procedures according to business requirements.
Providing relevant information on internal IS policies and procedures to support business development in commercial units.
Coordinating annual reviews of IS Policies and Procedures.
IS training and guidance support:
Educating colleagues through training interventions about company practice and best practice across the IS framework, throughout the employee life cycle.
Ensuring all available IS information and guidance is updated and reflects the company’s requirements and best practice.
Supporting the Head of IS with ongoing review and management of the relationship with the external IT support provider.
Ensuring that relevant IT security advice and guidance is being communicated to the business.
Liaising with Recruitment and HR teams to manage device allocation.
Ensuring IT hardware stock is managed according to financial and business requirements.
Liaising with IT Helpdesk to ensure devices are correctly maintained and configured.
Maintaining internal asset register for monitoring as well as finance and HR purposes.
Monitoring and budgeting IT hardware spend.
Skills and experience you will bring to the role:
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders across the organisation.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ablility to work on own initiative and without supervision if necessary.
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to deliver results and prioritise workload with deadlines.
Professional knowledge and technical skills:
Good MS Office skills – intermediate level.
Good analytical skills and data driven thinking.
Project management experience.
Basic IT, IS or Cybersecurity skills.
Experience with document management solutions (e.g., SharePoint).
Required education and experience:
2 years administration experience in a fast-paced working environment.
Interest in and experience working with various software applications.
Experience communicating and collaborating with cross departmental teams.
Prior experience in a tech or software company.
What else do I need to know?
Location: This position is open to candidates based in the UK.
Contract type: Permanent employment contract.
Start date: February/March 2024.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
Hours: Full time.
