Disabled Workers Registration Terms & Conditions

The database specifically supports the work of disabled people and those organisations and companies employing disabled people in meaningful paid employment. It offers FREE registration to all self-employed disabled homeworkers. It is NOT necessary to be "registered disabled" as long as you have a disability and can provide the evidence to support this if required to do so. or FREE registration to non-profit making organisations i.e. Sheltered Workshops and Charities, employing or supporting the employment of disabled people in paid employment. or Commercial companies, may also apply, providing they are employing a significant number of disabled people in meaningful paid employment. Registration will be at our discretion. To register it is not necessary to have a web address. The registration form asks you what kind of evidence you can provide to support your disability. It also asks you to make a declaration about your disability and about the information you are providing. You may only register on the database if you have a disability, or represent an organisation that offers paid employment to people with disabilities and can provide evidence of this if required to do so, and agree to the terms and conditions as set out on this page. YOUR COMMITMENT The Disabled Workers Co-operative is by definition a co-operative. This means it is expected that you will in turn promote The Disabled Workers Co-operative to your customers. This approach benefits all as the more people use the site the more likely that someone with find the services you are promoting. You can add our link to your website, promote it it your newsletters and literature, and put up information on your notice boards. You should also use the search 1st whenever you are looking for a product or service, after all why not help another disabled person. Your Experence You will periodoclly be sent a questionaire asking about your experence of being registered on the Disabled Workers Co-operative. It is important that this is returned or any requests acted on as this may effect your continued listing. Hyperlinks Your hyperlink to your website, if you have one, will be activated, and will remain active for a minimum of one year after the date you registered After a year companies will be asked for a small contribution to keep the link active.
